Little Ivy is a pretty thatched Grade II listed cottage dating back 400 hundred years, situated in the heart of West Lulworth, one of the most popular villages along the coast in Dorset.
It is semi-detached to Ivy Cottage.
Little Ivy can accommodate up to three guests in two bedrooms, both on the first floor.
With living area and electric fire, dining table and well-equipped kitchen it’s a perfect holiday home for a couple or small family.
Just a second away from the cottage is The Castle Inn, pet friendly pub with a lovely garden.
Just a few minutes stroll from the property is Lulworth Cove with stunning and geologically unique cove.
Make sure to try out tempting seafood shacks (all seasonal) with locally caught fish and crab.
You can taste one of the best ice creams from the small local shops.
Here also you will find quite a few pubs serving food with beautiful views.
Once you in a cove, you will find yourself right on the South West Coastal Path with abundance of walks to both directions.
One will lead you to Weymouth via arguably most photographed place in the UK – Durdle Door arc and if you venture further, you will be taking one of the most challenging walks through the rolling clifftops with most beautiful scenery around; rolling Dorset countryside on one side and sea from the other with the sight of the Isle of Portland leading the way.
Take a trip to a picturesque Corfe Castle village, enjoy delicious cream teas and take awalk around this lovely village.
Corfe Castle ruins is one of Britain's most iconic survivors of the English Civil War and offers fantastic Dorset countryside views around.
Holiday days can be filled with activities such as a boat ride along the coast, walking along the coastline searching for fossils or exploring the many geological and historical sites nearby.
If you don’t want to eat out, return to the cottage and dine alfresco in the garden.
