Just a short walk away is the South West Coast Path, where you have a choice of directions offering fantastic views and scenery.
Make sure to check opening times to nearby Range walks for access to Fossil Forest and ghost village Tyneham and further along the coast path.
Alternatively, you can take a drive around and visit beautiful Chapman’s Pool, Kimmeridge bay where you can look for some fossils and admire different landscape with Jurassic coast rocks.
Just a second away from the cottage, The Castle Inn is a pet friendly pub and has a cosy garden.
A visit to famous Durdle Door, an iconic rock formation rising from the sea and resembling a doorway, is a must.
It also has a popular beach offering snorkelling and cliff walks.
A kayak tour can be arranged locally from Lulworth Cove and it's an experience to treasure as you are shown secret little pools, fossils and beaches accessed via sea only.
Weymouth in the West and Swanage in the East are both traditional seaside towns around half an hour's drive away and perfect for a day trip.
