“One first viewing it's very spacious and the views to the pebble beach is beautiful.”

The rooms are all a good size and lots of seating. We did find not having an airfryer was something not used to and oven - grill took sometime to work and cook. The kids bedrooms needed more cleaning as mold is around one the bedroom windows and a large amount of dust and dirt next to beds in the back bedroom- just needs a bit more time on cleaning and more toilet roll. The hamper was nice but unfortunately the bottle of juice was dirty and dated December 2024 so we left it. We found a large fishing hook on the beach with line which were glad our dogs didn't stand on- guest need to be made aware of this as there's lots of fishing direct outside. The fish cafe opposite had alarm go off and load talking outside from workers in the morning We didn't visit as wasn't for children. It's a beautiful place but just needs a little longer cleaning as it's run by an agency so there's no direct contact details to anyone especially if you need assistance out of agency hours. The room upstairs has a beautiful view with window seat which is stunning but the double bed is very small and tiny bath which we found to small to use no shower upstairs. Floor in big room does have lots marks on it as they hold £400 on your account for damages but I want other guest to take note incase your accused of these. Would we stay again yes but probably bring airfryer and loo roll.

Thank you for your comments, yes, we have had others noting fishing gear left/ washed up on the beach so dog owners please beware at all times. With regard to the other points: I will consider buying an air fryer. The oven was cleaned and tested 2 days prior to your visit and worked well. The house was painted inside and out, 2 days before your arrival, including walls behind the twin beds and the superking bed. I can only apologise if you found dust after the walls were sanded down. The floors and skirting behind the superking bed were thoroughly cleaned as were the bedside lamps. I can assure you of this as I did it myself. I will ask housekeeping to double check for dust in the bunk room. There are indeed black marks around some of the windows. These marks have been scrubbed and anti mould spray applied but the stains do not shift. I do not think it is mould or dirt. When I left the property, 2 days before your arrival, I left 12 loo rolls and spare kitchen roll under the stairs. The house provides a superking bed, a king sized bed upstairs l, a twin single and a bunk bed. There are a selection of beds for different people’s needs, I’m sorry you found the king sized bed too small. The bath upstairs is indeed under a sloping ceiling but it is a full length bath. There is a hand held shower attachment. The apple juice is homemade, it was juiced from our own apples end Oct 2024, the bottles are recycled from previous drinks but each one is pasteurised for 20 mins at 80 degrees and the juice lasts for a year. The date of Dec 24 would refer to best before date of the juice that was bought in the recycled bottle. There was a label saying the apple juice was homemade. I would not have given guests something out of date. I will check the upstairs carpet for stains this week, and take photos. There’s a contact number in the guest file for help from Dreams cottages should you need to contact them at anytime. I hope you will return to Beach Haven again someday. Property Owner
