“Overall a nice stay at the ferryman great location looking over the harbour.”

House generally in good order . The bathroom is looking a bit tired and mould is appearing in places. Bathroom fan is extremely dirty and does not work. I would book again for the location

The property

Weymouth's waterfront is home to The Ferryman, a charming cottage that has been recently renovated.

It is the ideal place to sit and witness the everyday happenings of the harbour, from the unloading of the day's catch to the gliding of luxury yachts.

The kitchen/diner, perched above the harbour and accessible only by stairs, offers a picturesque vantage point from which to whip up a delicious dinner and enjoy it with friends and family.

The first-floor sitting room offers a different perspective altogether, and while it's a nice spot to relax with a book or the television, you'll probably find yourself staring out at the harbour rather than inside.

Brewers Quay, with its chic restaurants and cafes, is just paces away, and is the perfect excuse to take a night off from the kitchen.

The golden sands of Weymouth's award-winning beach beckon you to come swim in the calm, shallow waters; afterwards, wander the esplanade while enjoying a scoop of Weymouth's famous ice cream.

When you plan a holiday at The Ferryman, you can watch the sun set over the bridge from the beautiful picture window in the lounge, capping off a fantastic day.

Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Ringstead Bay, Chesil Beach, Portland Bill, and West Bay are just a few of the breath-taking destinations within a half-hour drive of The Ferryman.
