“The Apartment we have stayed in twice now, the situation is stunning and apartment generally very clean.”

However many areas of maintenance now needed, rusty metal units in shower, mastic areas in showers very grimy, very rusty inside dishwasher, a blood stained inner pillow cover. The worst for us ( not owners fault ) the noise from the above apartment we had never experienced all week at our previous stay. Whilst we were there we had 2 separate families, both with children which wasn’t an issue before and most people are respectful of others feelings but not here. Stomping and running upstairs until gone midnight from their apartment, not just people walking around but clear jumping. We would expect general noise, coming and going etc but this was excessive and into the early hours at times. We won’t return ( not because of apartment which was lovely ) as is the owner, when we had an issue with main door lock she promptly sorted. Holidays you need restful times and good sleep, but sadly 2 families within a week clearly weren’t prepared to make sure their whole family respected other peoples enjoyment. We used to take our now older family when they were children to apartments, would never of allowed them to be running around and thudding up and down at any point so not to disturb anyone. Interestingly when we passed the first family on the stairs moving out as they left, we passed a number of people with suit cases including children, yet the apartments don’t sleep this many!

Dear Adeline, Thank you so much for your booking and for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We’re so pleased to hear that you found the apartment clean and the location stunning—it’s wonderful to know those aspects contributed positively to your stay. We’re also glad we could respond quickly when you reached out about the front door issue and were able to assist straight away. We appreciate your comments regarding areas of maintenance. Following your feedback, the showers have now been deep cleaned, and we’re continuing to monitor and refresh areas where needed. Pillow protectors are regularly rotated and checked. We’re very sorry to hear that your experience was impacted by noise from the apartment above. While, as you acknowledged, this is outside of our direct control, we always encourage guests to inform us of any disturbances so that we can intervene where appropriate. We did advise during your stay that we were happy to address any noise issues if they continued. Once again, thank you for your feedback. We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us again and are always striving to improve based on guest experiences. We hope that you’ll consider returning in the future so we can provide a fantastic stay in a stunning location. Warmest regards, Joy Property Owner
