“Handy for the town and well equipped with comfortable beds.”

Lighting in lounge poor. Upstairs toilet seat too small and uncomfortable and bath could do with a grab rail. Staff at Dream Cottages helpful over a wash basin issue

The property

A terraced holiday cottage in the ever-popular 'Maltings' development in Weymouth, close to the old historic harbour and beach, offering a wonderful base for a family in pursuit of exploring Dorset’s coast.

Be welcomed into the cosy sitting room, where you can look forward to putting your feet up and relaxing upon the comfortable sofa, after a day exploring all the delights that Dorset has to offer.

The kitchen leads to the conservatory/dining room where you can enjoy a home cooked meal and then finish the evening with a nice drink on the patio, catching the last of the summer sun.

Upstairs, you will find two well-presented bedrooms; one with a king size bed and the other with two singles, along with a modern bathroom to freshen up in.

The lovely rear patio area is perfect for relaxing in after a sunny day at the beach or for an alfresco breakfast to prepare you for your day ahead.

The Maltings has been extensively modernised and is a favourite with holidaymakers due to its quiet and exclusive residential location, yet close to the popular Brewers Quay area and harbour.

Weymouth’s town centre has many shops, cafes and bars to choose from and, along with its award winning sandy beach, has a bustling traditional seaside atmosphere with many family attractions.

From Punch and Judy shows and donkey rides on the beach to arcades and rides in the amusement park, there are many things to get involved in.

Newton's Cove is just around the corner from the property if you would prefer a quieter scene.

The gardens here are the perfect place to take a picnic and revel in the wonderful far-reaching sea views and the shallow waters reveal fascinating rock pools for you to discover marine life.

Whatever you choose to do on your holiday here in Dorset, Kingfisher Cottage provides an ideal base for a family or group of friends to have memorable time exploring the beautiful Jurassic Coast.
