“Lovely property, well presented and maintained.”
Owners were welcoming but did not intrude. Just a couple of points which might help other guests:
Whilst there was basically everything necessary provided, we were rather surprised to find that only one, rather thin, toilet roll was provided for a week’s stay, and there was no kitchen roll and barely an inch of washing up liquid provided. We had to go out and buy these on our first day. (most rental properties these days do provide these basics, and generally offer a small welcome pack of at least one or two tea bags etc. for a first cuppa after a long journey - fortunately we had taken plenty of supplies).
Whilst there were the usual local brochures of nearby places, it would have been helpful to have a note of things like recommended places to eat and drink, and phone numbers for local doctors etc. A note also for future renters - if you need good, reliable Wi-Fi, perhaps for business etc.,the Wi-Fi is very unreliable and sometimes took half an hour or more to come through. There are boosters in the bungalow but they aren’t very effective due to the bungalow’s position surrounded by lots of trees.
