The property

Georges House is a converted property within Kellaway Court, one of the most desirable places to stay within the Brewers Quay area of Weymouth.

Accessing the property via external steps from the courtyard you will enter the property on the first floor walking into the open plan living area. There is also a bedroom on this floor and a further 3 bedrooms upstairs.

It is a complete conversion of one of the old malthouses which used to belong to Devenish Brewery.

Most of the old malthouse features have been retained with the architect cleverly marrying up ancient with modern.

Private electronic entrance gates afford exclusivity and the whole development has been tastefully completed and very well presented.

Being close to the harbour you may experience the many attractions and relaxed vibe which the Brewers Quay has to offer.

In the evening you can enjoy a meal at one of the many attractive bistros, the local inns offer good ale and cool wine.

The romantic harbour has a special magic of its own morning madness and evening romance.

Colourful vessels adorn the harbour along with the affluent gin palaces.

The old cottages which front the harbour are painted in soft colours, all of which blend into the morning sunshine and the evening sunset.

A morning stroll along the seafront really is one of the best ways to start your day. The central and secure location makes Georges House an ideal place for your family holiday.

About the location

BREWERS QUAY HARBOUR

Dorchester 8.7 miles; West Lulworth 15.8 miles

Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated at the heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. This area is now a popular destination with many restaurants, café and bars, creating a vibrant culture, where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked away down the harbourside streets, you will find original Tudor harbour buildings, estimated to have been built in 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible exhibitions, and the harbour is also home to the lifting bridge, where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge to the town's winding streets of boutique shops and the seafront esplanade and beach. There is more to this seaside town than meets the eye; Brewers Quay is a much-loved holiday destination in Weymouth!

Note: Allocated parking for one car only in electronically gated secure residents parking area. Note. Guests are required to bring their own cot linen.
