“The property is very spacious, much bigger than it looks in the pictures.”

The entrance hall & high ceilings are beautiful. Comfy beds, powerful shower & luxurious bath. Unfortunately, the shine was taken off due to the property not being particularly clean. We had to clean cutlery & crockery before using it, cleaned the bathroom storage container & the dining table & coasters were sticky & crumbs. Light fittings were very dusty & badic repairs not done (e.g. stips coming off kitchen cupboards) & clock batteries not replaced. That being said, the location to the ...

“We were quite sure there was no mention of only one parking space when we originally booked.”

However, it is now! In fact we asked several times via email & whatapp about parking but got no reply which meant when we were informed, the week before our visit, we had to arrange paid off site parking for one car. The image of the property also gave the impression of ample parking.

“The apartment was big and spacious and very homely.”

It’s around 10 minute walk to the promenade once there around another 10 minutes to the town. There are several supermarkets around. The bus service is very good which we used all the time didn’t use the car and only £2 each way. I will certainly be back next year.

“A very nice apartment, spacious, comfortable and with everything needed.”

It was great to have allocated parking. Ideally situated, just a short walk to the beach and the town. You need to review the maintenance checks between holiday let’s. When we arrived the drain for the en-suite wash basin was completely clogged and we had to buy some drain cleaner to clear it. There were several lightbulbs that had blown, including above the shower, which we did not attempt to change. The washing machine seemed to have a mind of its own and when using the drying programme, it decided to go through a wash cycle! Despite following the instructions we could not get any of the radiators to work. The kitchen cupboards need a bit of a refresh. Apart from these small problems we had a wonderful holiday. Thank you.

“A well located and very spacious period apartment with the must have for Weymouth a private parking space which was of a good size.”

Quality furniture and nice touches making it very homely and looked forward to coming back to the apartment each day. Excellent position near beach and a short walk to the town meant we didn’t need the car most days. Well presented and overall clean and tidy but a deep clean every now and then would make a difference in terms of the finer detail.

“A lovely property in a good location.”

It has all the amenities you require for a great holiday. We visited with elderly parents and it was very accessible for them. Car parking is a big plus, the only down side is the busy road outside , not from a noise perspective but for getting across during the day.

“Beautiful apartment situated in an ideal location just a short walk from the town centre.”

Very nicely and comfortably furnished. The road was very noisy at night and our teenage son, who was in the twin room at the front, found it hard to sleep. The apartment was not as clean as it should have been with the bathroom taps left very grungy, which was quite unpleasant, and the sink totally blocked which required a call into the office from us before sorting. Various window vents were hanging off and a few chipped glasses/dishes, hairdryer not working etc. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment as it was so nice and so well situated however a few of these issues should have been put right and just let it down a little.

“We had a great stay at Sea Star, location and property was perfect for us.”

Our only point for future guests would be the heating. When we arrived at the property at our check in time of 5pm the property was so cold and thermostat set at 15 degrees. I know we had to leave the property at 15 but it would of been nice if the heating was on and warm ready for our arrival. We had 2 children with us who were very cold. Just a little pointer for future guests but we had a great stay and after the property warmed up it was perfect. Thank you

“A lovely apartment and is well situated for Weymouth town centre, the beach and the coast beyond.”

Beautifully furnished, good central heating and plenty of hot water. Well equipped although we did have to buy some essentials which weren’t present in the property eg cleaning materials, foil, cling film, kitchen roll. This is not a complaint but would be useful information for future guests as they have always been provided in previous holiday accommodation. Good restaurants within a short walk and several large supermarkets within a 5 minute drive. Was a little disappointed upon arrival as the front porch was cluttered (2 vacuum cleaners????) and shabby ( first impressions do count) but put this down to being the end of the season. Would definitely recommend.

“Lovely, spacious apartment and well laid out.”

Great to have a well equipped kitchen, in fact the whole place was well equipped and we didn't find ourselves short of anything. It's really convenient for Weymouth and a good base for exploring other areas. My only criticism is the general standard of cleaning especially in the kitchen. I had to do a bit of wiping down of surfaces and scrubbing of the kettle myself! Apart from that I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

“Very large clean, well equipped, comfortable flat.”

Personally we found it hard to find even using a satnav and had to park up to locate the property on foot and then drive there. The location was brilliant, just a short walk from the sea. Although a busy road to cross, we had no problems although should imagine it would be a lot more difficult with children. Weymouth is lovely and easy to travel from there to various local areas by public transport. We parked and used public transport all week. All in all a relaxing break in a lovely apartment in a great seaside location.

“We were impressed with the holiday apartment, very spacious and well equipped.”

The location is as described just a few moments from the sea front. Stunning scenery, the gardens at greenhill are lovely. A visit to Portland is well worth a day out, the views across the sea to Chesil beach are breathtaking. We had a couple of issues with the shower, just one phone call and it was fixed right away. Only drawback is near a busy road so care needs to be taken crossing the road. Bur apart from that would certainly stay again.

.......more than one toilet roll!!.....you get my point.......these rentals cost a lot of money , and it’s the small touches that ensure repeat bookings ......good business ?! Apartment was spacious and very clean. I would recommend it .

“The Sea Star is an amazing place to stay.”

Large clean comfortable and spacious could even live there with everything you could possibly need. Even had its own parking space with a space if had a visitor. Even catered for families with young children and babies which is a rare thing and a valued bonus if you have a young family. Close to amenities just a short walk away to beach depending on how fast you walk. I would highly recommend staying at the Sea Star and Weymouth itself is a lovely place to stay.
