“My only complaint is that you cannot get into property a bit earlier.”

After a long drive and the 2 coffee places nearby cose at 4. So we just pulled up road side and waited till 5. Saying all that it's our second holiday there the year. Wonderful property and fantastic situation.

“We absolutely loved it.”

Best accommodation we have had and been coming Weymouth for some years. Great location for us. The welcome items were a lovely idea. We spoke to your office in Brewers Quay and they promised to email the owner to see if we could book the accommodation for 14 days from 31st August 2025. We are really hoping we can.

“Was good from the time we entered the property.”

Much larger than we had thought and nice and airy. Would really recommend. The apartment is literally just up the road to good convenience store and bus services to many places should you not want to drive and in a good area of town. Lots of places should you wish to drive, we liked Dorchester and loved Abbotsbury Sub Tropical Gardens. Well worth a visit and choosing this property.

“We enjoyed our stay for the week as it was roomy, clean and sited in a nice area very near to the beach and amenities, but unfortunately the main bedroom king/double size bed mattrass was very uncomfortable and the following morning we both were suffering from back and hip soreness ( I must mention that neither my wife or myself have suffered from any back nor hip problems before spending the first night on that mattress which took use both 2 days to get over) anyway, the next day we both moved in to the second bedroom that had two single beds which were very comfortable that probably helped in aiding our recovery much quicker.”

We would have given a 5-star rating for this holiday property but for this uncomfortable mattress issue.

“Wonderful apartment with everything you could possibly need provided.”

Decoration is of a very high standard and exceptionally clean. Furniture and beds are very comfortable. The welcome pack was very much appreciated with all of the basic essentials to start off your holiday. Our dog loved the very safe garden even though the grass pictured on the website has now been replaced with gravel (makes for easier maintenance by the owner). There is just a short walk (2 minutes) to the long promenade which takes you along the shoreline to Weymouth. We had a lovely break and hope to visit again in the near future.

“We love this apartment.”

The location is excellent. So close to the beach and a lovely walk to Weymouth town along the beach or by the nature reserve. There is plenty of living space inside with a well equipped kitchen including a good size fridge/freezer. The bathroom is a good size, with a bath and separate shower. Only downside we found this time was that it is a bit cold and damp and was really hard to get our swimming gear and towels dry inside. Unfortunately the weather didn’t enable us to hang things outside on many days we were there.

Great position so near the beach ( which is dog friendly all year round). Little garden great for the dog in the mornings! . Bus stop outside for trips into Weymouth if we didn’t fancy the walk, and a local shop, open all hours. Would love to stay there again, thank you.

“The holiday property is very clean, facility is modern and very lovely, they thought of everything you may need.”

I will gladly give this property 10/10. The only thing they may consider to change is the mattress in the master bedroom. It is too soft, therefore not too good for your backbone. The location of this property is the best for holiday in Dorset near the beach.

“This is a fabulous property in an amazing location.”

It is comfortable and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay. The only things that disappointed us was the weak WiFi signal that kept dropping out. The dishwasher has seen better days and if you haven't used one like this before, it would be a problem as there are no instructions for it. Overall though a great place to stay.

“Our first instinct was 'wow' however we gradually realised this was not quite the reality.”

Both Settees were rather tired and not at all comfortable. There was no dressing table in either bedroom. Ladies do like to be able to sit at a table in front of a mirror to apply make-up and dry hair. In the main bedroom the drawers in the bedside cabinets were difficult to close and one appeared to have had the door glued closed. Towels were inadequate in size. We were glad we had brought our own bath sheets. There were no instructions for the dishwasher which was not working. This was resolved by a phone call in which it was suggested i insert a pencil in the slot where the button to change settings should have been. Unfortunately my husband, who is an invalid, was taken Ill so we were forced to cut our holiday shirt after just 4 days.

Spotlessly clean, well equipped, and spacious really made for an enjoyable week. Having meals in while looking at the view of the ocean was Lovely. Separate garden for the dog was a real bonus too, even though you could be on the dog friendly beach within a couple of minutes. Would highly recommend.

They were friendly, and very knowledgable about places in the area to visit. We truly enjoyed Tides Corner, and would be very happy to visit there again.

“Tides corner was spotless, modern and welcoming.”

We could not fault anything inside the apartment and the position of it was spectacular - right across the street from the beach. However there was one major disappointment, the garden. I would not recommend this apartment for anyone with dogs or young children as the garden was not secure. There is a gate across the driveway which we asked to close because we took our dog and unfortunately we not allowed to. I feel like this should have been made clear before booking the apartment as the driveway leads out onto a main road. This problem could be easily rectified by building a fence down the side of the house near the patio area to allow a small bit of the garden to be secure for dogs or young children. This is by far the nicest property we have ever stayed in in Weymouth and if it wasn’t for the garden we would be back every year.

Attention to detail was perfect. The welcome pack was everything you needed, from a treat, to that well expected cuppa after a long journey and even basic items you may have forgotten. The comfort at the property was great, lovely linen and towels provided and comfortable beds, we slept very well due to the walking and the sea air. We can't rate Tides Corner highly enough if it was marks out of 10 we would have to score it 20. Certainly would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful holiday in comfortable surroundings and would book again anytime.

“I was disappointed in the size of the towels as they were not bath sheets.”

The heating was on a timer and switched off at 10.30am and didn't come back on until 5.30pm as it was March the rooms went quite cold when the heating was off and as the weather was wet we were in the apartment more than out. The apartment was nicely decorated and very clean and the wine, coffee, tea, etc was a nice touch. There was a lovely sea view of the sea and Portland Bill from the dining room. We had a lovely break and enjoyed ourselves.

Weymouth 3 miles; Dorchester 7.2 miles; Yeovil 28 miles.

Bowleaze sits behind Bowleaze Cove and right at the end of Weymouth’s long 3-mile beach front perched on the edge of Preston. Known for its fascinating geology and picturesque location on the Jurassic Coast, this area of Weymouth offers beautiful views back towards Weymouth and Portland, whilst only being a short distance from the main beach and town centre. There are many places to eat and you can join the south west coast path towards Osmington Mills, Ringstead and beyond from here. Predominantly a residential area, it’s perfect those who want to escape to the seaside but retain the tranquillity of a residential area.

Note: Only ever one well behaved pet.
Note: Please be advised there is a 1 metre high fence towards the front of the property (with a gate). Please bear this in mind when booking for your dog.
