Resting in the little village of Litton Cheney within the Bride Valley in Dorset is Willowbrook Cottage which offers a contemporary interior in this quaint and traditional countryside setting.

Set over two floors and with the local pub nearby, this lovely abode will be a perfect home for a family of four or two couples, with the superking room able to be turned into a twin on request.

Spend time in the light and airy open-plan kitchen/diner, where you can get the dinner on the go as you set up a board game on the dining table to play while the food simmers, afterwards discussing your plans for the rest of the week as you tuck into a tasty feast.

Wind down into your evening within the inviting sitting room, where a large blue corner sofa offers a snug spot to relax in in front of the TV or choose a book from the sideboard to curl up with.

On the first floor you can discover the two wonderful bedrooms, decorated with tranquil hues of grey and white, offering either a double room with a superking-size bed (can be made into two single upon request prior to arrival), benefitting from an en-suite shower room and an en-suite bathroom respectively.

When sat out on the front patio with a morning cup of tea, take in the gentle and soothing sounds of the stream which runs at the bottom of the lawned garden.

The village of Litton Cheney lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so there are many walks and trails surrounding the cottage, as well as being within easy driving distance of the amazing Chesil Beach which runs all the way down to the Isle of Portland offering a great challenge to any keen walkers.

Dorchester is within ten miles of Litton Cheney and offers a characterful town to explore, with great places to eat, family attractions and a rich history including manor houses and museums to wander around.

Dorchester 10 miles; Yeovil 20 miles.

This small picturesque village can be found within the county of Dorset in south-west England. Litton Cheney contains a number of facilities, including a Parish Church, the White Horse Inn and a community hall, along with charming cottages and a number of listed buildings. The village also comes complete with a local cheese factory and vineyard. It has bus links, with two a day going to Bridport, two additional ones on a Saturday and one a week to Dorchester. Moreover, this charming village is an ideal base for exploring the area further, with Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, a 18th-century garden with rare plants and notable magnolia to explore nearby. Dorset is known for its challenging walks, such walks include the Chideock coastal walk, where you will walk along beaches, cliffs, woodlands and meadows. For some retail therapy, Dorchester is situated just 10 miles away, where you will find a good selection of pubs, restaurants, shops and a number of attractions including The Keep Military Museum, the Roman Town House and the Maumbury Rings, if you are interested in Roman history.
