The property

Little Willow is a superb cottage nestled in Farrington, Dorset, close to the bustling town of Child Okeford.

Partly constructed from a shipping container, this property offers the very best of character and contemporary, ideal for couples.

Choose to spend those quiet evenings in the open-plan living space, which has a quirky decor with its half mint green wooden panelled walls, exposed beams and large wooden dresser adding that extra bit of character to the property.

The sitting room is ideal for curling up and enjoying a romantic movie night.

Gather at the dining table for an evening meal and a well-deserved glass of wine, or a kitchen with a range of appliances to cook up a storm.

Once the evening draws to a close, venture into the double bedroom where you will find matching bedside tables and lamps for some late night or early morning reading with a lovely patchwork comforter to cosy up in.

Benefit from your own en-suite shower room and enjoy a relaxing shower of an evening.

While you're in the area, travel into Child Okeford for a small selection of pubs, restaurants and cafés for that fine dining experience, as well as some shops and supermarkets for picking up those last-minute essentials.

When you visit Shaftesbury, make sure you explore its steep cobbled street Gold Hill, hugely popular with the locals and tourists alike for its connections to the Hovis advert.

The historic Shaftesbury Abbey was founded in 888, and has a peaceful walled garden and a museum full of rich history.

For stunning rural sites, ample walking and cycling opportunities, the Cranborne Chase AONB is the perfect spot for you, not to mention the nearby lakes for the chance to fish.
