“We all had a lovely week, I personally loved the Bay View Villa fantastic view which I'm missing already drinking my coffee in the mornings, it felt like home very quirky and eclectic, tastefully decorated, clean and well equipped and great to stay in for our first time in Fortuneswell, we usually stay in Weymouth which we still love, I actually preferred staying in Fortuneswell, more interesting and just great views, I was concerned for my Mom tackling the stairs but she was fine and actually had the 2nd floor en suite room, it is a little misleading as although it sleeps 6 it is advertised as 4 bedrooms, where it is actually 3 bedrooms all with double beds, then what we thought was the 4th bedroom in the attic room with a sofa bed and tv, which isn't really a sofa bed although my daughter did sleep up there for a couple of nights, if its 3 couples it's fine, but the 6 of us was made up of 4 adults on their own and 1 couple, so there were compromises for part of the week but we managed it.”

There was a slight issue with the heating the thermostat display wasn't visible so a little difficult to know if the heating had come on or indeed turned off, so that would need addressing. My only complaint which is not to do with the accommodation but with Sykes, I tried in 3 different methods to contact Sykes prior to travelling to Portland, by email. whats app and by phone, I was transferred to another dept on the phone which just rang out, tried to call again no answer, and up until ...

There was a slight issue with the heating the thermostat display wasn't visible so a little difficult to know if the heating had come on or indeed turned off, so that would need addressing. My only complaint which is not to do with the accommodation but with Sykes, I tried in 3 different methods to contact Sykes prior to travelling to Portland, by email. whats app and by phone, I was transferred to another dept on the phone which just rang out, tried to call again no answer, and up until now I have still not had a response to my query by email or what's app? It was only just to double check on bedlinen and towels whether they are provided or not, as it suggests you do, luckily we didn't need to contact Sykes/Dreams whilst at the property for anything serious? I just thought it wasn't very good Customer service not to even respond. All in all a fantastic week for our family we all loved it.
