The Stables is a lovingly and newly-built stone property resting in the peaceful village of Burton Bradstock, and is a splendid holiday home for a family or group of friends wishing for a relaxing staycation on the Jurassic Coastline.
The accommodation sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms, and is bright and spacious, equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday in this picturesque village setting.
Step inside the property and you will find the kitchen/diner is the hub of the home, where everyone can gather together in helping to prepare a delicious meal whilst planning their days ahead, and the homely sitting room is the perfect spot for settling down and catching up on your favourite TV shows with the added charm and warmth of a woodburning stove for those chilly evenings.
When the day draws to a close, climb the stairs and choose from one of the three well-presented bedrooms; a double offering an ensuite shower room with walk in shower, basin and WC, a second double and a twin bedroom which are both served by a family bathroom with bath, overhead shower, basin and WC.
Outside of the patios doors, you will find a courtyard area where you can sit with your morning paper and a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the fresh air and serenity, before getting ready to head off to explore the delights of the local area.
Embark on one of the many splendid countryside walks and discover some truly spectacular scenery, whether it be the rolling green hills or the far reaching shingle bay of Hive Beach, where the golden cliffs make a stunning backdrop for a shoreline stroll, and the village has traditional Public Houses serving home cooked food and Dorset Ales, along with a post office and shop where you can gather your daily essentials and a playpark and recreation field for the little ones to run of some energy.
Freshwater Beach is also just a short stroll from the property where you can try your hand at a spot of fishing or simply relax and watch the world go by.
Burton Bradstock is a scenic drive away from the West Bay, famous for being the setting of the ITV series Broadchurch, and the colourful market town of Bridport is just slightly further, and is the perfect spot to look for that unique keepsake to take back home.
If fossil hunting is your desire, be sure to spend time on the nearby Charmouth Beach and, for those keen walkers, Golden Cap, Dorset’s highest peak, is an energetic six miles along the South West Coast Path and offers some of the most spectacular views in Dorset.
For those seeking something more leisurely, you could visit the Langdon Hill National Trust or those with children will be delighted by the nearby resort town of Weymouth with its long sandy beach, shallow waters, donkey rides, arcades and so many more family attractions.
So whether you are looking for an action packed break or simply a restful home away from home to recharge, The Stables is a wonderful base for a holiday with loved ones in this wonderful county.
