“I have just returned from a week at Alice Cottage in Burton Bradstock.”

This cottage is fab. The cottage was so homely and well kept, it was a beautiful cottage with everything inside easy to use and comfortable. Our stay was fabulous, the location is amazing so near the beach, Hive Cafe and local pubs, the three horses pub food is exceptional. Would defiantly return as had a great time in Burton Bradstock. My only negative would be the garden, it is a large secure garden which was great for the dog however there were a lot of nettle bushes around and if playing ...

My only negative would be the garden, it is a large secure garden which was great for the dog however there were a lot of nettle bushes around and if playing in the garden with the games left at the cottage to play these could be dangerous for children and dogs. I felt the garden both back and car parking could be made free from nettles and what appeared to be blackberry bushes. When playing with the dog the ball went into the nettles it was difficult to get it out and resulted in me being stung on several occasions. Whilst this did not spoil our holiday, it was just something I had to be mindful of I would recommend this cottage to people wanting to have a fab holiday in Dorset.

Thanks for your feedback. So glad you enjoyed your stay despite the nettles. I'm afraid they pop there heads up depending on the season. Rest assured, our nettles team will dispose of them very soon. Rob & Wendy Property Owner
