This lovely, detached 19th-century home, Fiddlesticks Cottages, is located in the vibrant Dorset town of Beaminster.

Fiddlesticks Cottage welcomes four guests and their four-legged companion to enjoy a tranquil getaway to Dorset.

It has a stone façade and a delightful interior.

Kick off your shoes and settle into the plush sofas in the welcoming sitting room, which features a TV and an electric flame-effect stove, while the assigned chef prepares delectable dishes in the light-filled kitchen/dining area.

As you plan your upcoming days, gather the family around the dining table for a meal and toast to a wonderful holiday while cracking open a bottle of champagne.

If you don't feel like cooking, go upstairs to find a roomy bathroom, and take a relaxing bath or energising shower before going to the neighbourhood pub.

As the evening ends, retire to one of the two charming bedrooms and pick between a king-size or a twin bed to get some rest before another day of exploring the neighbourhood.

When you're ready to go exploring, stroll into the town to find a wide variety of eateries, cafes, pubs, and shops, as well as the fascinating Beaminster Museum.

In the area, you can join Donkey Walking Adventures for a fun afternoon that gives you the chance to interact closely with these adorable animals.

The Red Lion Pub and the attractive Ollerod Hotel are both nearby options if you're looking for a place to treat your loved ones to a hearty meal.

Travel by car further afield to the bustling market town of Bridport or West Bay, which is famous for its connection to the ITV show Broadchurch and is situated on Dorset's breath-taking Jurassic Coast.

The attractive country town of Beaminster nestles beneath the rolling West Dorset downland within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
